Oil on canvas
A painting inspired by the Amalfi Coast — whose poignant beauty has long been both a haven and a source of inspiration for artists, aristocrats, and famous figures of the performing arts. It was here that Swedish actress Greta Garbo and conductor Leopold Stokowski secretly met to live out their intense love affair in 1938.
The vibrant atmosphere bursts into vivid hues, embracing the glow of the sunset reflected on the waves off Ravello. The artwork I created is a surge of emotions captured through passionate brushstrokes and fiery colors, expressed in a richly textured and substantial pictorial form, where oil becomes the messenger of expressive power and emotional warmth.
My canvas is a fusion of Expressionism and Fauvism, where the figure emerges with both strength and harmony. Each stroke is designed to evoke deep emotion and to bring into any home a living, vibrant energy.
