“INDOMITUS” explores the symbolic tension between the White Tiger and the Green Dragon — archetypes of discipline and creative impulse from Eastern tradition. The tiger, rendered with precise hyperrealism, embodies strength, gravity, and self-mastery; the dragon, tattooed upon its body, represents expansion and ascension. Their coexistence expresses a modern “yin-yang” dynamic where power arises from balance rather than domination.
Technically, the painting contrasts the meticulous realism of the animal with the gestural abstraction of the background. Warm and cold glazes sculpt the fur, while the oxidized reds and turquoise tones weave light and depth. The result is a visceral and meditative composition — a totem of inner sovereignty, where instinct and awareness become one.
