I have created the mysterious face of a woman emerging in the foreground, as if her sudden presence were the cause of a peculiar distortion of the well-known structure of Florence’s Cathedral. This may symbolize an invitation to shift one’s perception beyond the ordinary perspectives to which we have become too accustomed, casting her gaze “beyond” — toward a place she silently invites the viewer to follow in a pictorial journey exploring the connection between humanity and architecture, blending soft and strong lines.
The use of oil paint enhances the symbolism and surrealism, evoking the union between tangible reality and the inner landscape. With each brushstroke, I sought to convey a deep emotion, aiming to awaken reflection and inner dialogue in the observer. This artwork will bring dynamism and mystery into your space, inspiring profound contemplation.
