ANIMA DEL GIGLIO

I created this work with a blend of passion and mystery, channeling tradition and innovation through an expressionist and surrealist lens inspired by the portraits of Michelangelo Buonarroti, Leonardo da Vinci, and Donatello. The glimpses of Giotto’s bell tower and Florence’s Cathedral, framing these celebrated figures, represent the duality between the past and the dreamlike visions of the future. The oil on canvas conveys tangible emotions in a dialogue between reality and imagination.
