Autunno rosso
by Gino Bernardini
100 x 120,
Oil on canvas
In this painting, I wanted to portray the warm and vibrant essence of autumn — that moment when nature dresses itself in intense colors before the silence of winter.
In the foreground, a calm river flows, a mirror of light and reflections.
On the left, an ochre reed bed bends gently in the wind, while on the right, the Virginia creeper, with its deep red tones, ignites the scene with passion and vitality.
At the bottom, an interweaving of leaves and roots tells the story of the bond between earth and water, life and transformation.
