This artwork is dominated by the paradoxical support of a fragile balance: the imposing structure of Florence’s Cathedral loses much of its familiar architectural form, replaced by the precarious scaffolding of a mysterious house of cards. The enigmatic face or mask emerging in the upper left corner establishes, with its single visible eye, a silent dialogue with the viewer.
In creating this painting, I immersed myself in a journey between dream and reality. Using oil paint, I brought to life expressionist and surreal forms, intertwining the abstract with the figurative, where the metaphysical merges with the tangible. The penetrating geometries and vibrant colors evoke deep emotions, guiding the observer into a suspended dimension — beyond the visible.
