Changing perspective has helped me frame Manhattan from a different angle, allowing me to admire the reflections and colors of this neighborhood reflected in the water. I know I've painted New York before, but perhaps subconsciously I'm drawn to what seems unattainable. I hope one day to reach the other side of the ocean and perhaps paint one of the many scenes of daily life in this wonderful city on location. Project: "Desire and fear of travel"
