The Orion Nebula, our Eros, with its globular cluster of galactic dust, resembles a sort of anthropoid, albeit 12 light-years long. Its creative force is represented by the river, the origin of organic life, but there is an antagonist, a samurai representing Thanatos, the antithesis of life, inevitable according to the principle of complementarity.
